The silicone barrel heating is a simple and effective means of heating 200l barrels.

Up to threes segments can be heating, depending on the fill level. This way it is possible to achieve shorter heating-up times and higher product temperatures.

Applications:

Melting and/or viscosity reduction of soaps, greases, paints and other oil-based products.

The silicone rubber insulation complies with Standard Class II, providing a protective insulation with a high temperature tolerance. The heating resistor is coated with PTFE and enclosed in several layers of silicone-impregnated glass fabric.

A spring mount ensures a secure fit and proper surface contact.

Occupational safety and health:

Barrel bottom heaters comply with the low voltage directives. The CE mark has been attached to signify that the equipment complies with the EMC directives of the EU.

Before draining or filling the container and when assembling or disassembling the band heaters, the power supply to the heater must always be disconnected for safety reasons!

The equipment must be operated in a dry environment.

In order to avoid a pressure build-up within the barrel, the heating may be used only in an aerated barrel.
