Tubular heater

Siekerkotte tubular heaters manufactured from stainless steel in
6.5 und 8.5mm diameters. And suitable for a wide variety of applications.

  • The steel quality depends on the customers requirements.
  • Siekerkotte tubular heaters are manufactured to DIN 44.874 and VDE 0720 standards.
  • The internal conductor is embedded in compressed magnesium oxide which gives excellent heat dissipation to the outer surface as well as high insulation value.
  • The contacts consist of threaded bolt M 4 and are welded to the internal coil. Other connections can also be fitted as per customer requests.
  • The connecting ends are fitted with ceramic cones sealed against humidity and prevent current leakage.
  • Tubular heaters can be supplied in length from 300mm to 5000mm with tolerances of +/- 2 % at least +/- 5mm.
  • The unheated area (L u) to heated area (l b) must be at least 30mm.
    Temperature for stainless steel tubular heaters in use is approx 750ºC.
    If required threaded unions in stainless steel or brass can be soldered or pressed to heater tubes

 

Tubular heaters are tested to the following values

  • Insulation resistance: > 5 Megohm
  • Leakage current: < 0.1 mA
  • High voltage test:  1300 volts
  • Wattage tolerance: +5 .... -10%


The unheated length by request can be:
50mm, 100mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400mm, other lengths by request.

 

For the u bend the following measurements are available:
15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100mm, other measurements by request.

When enquiring please state preferred material for threaded unions.

Unions can be soldered or pressed. Please specify details of length, voltage, wattage, and u-bend in your enquiring. When possible a technical drawing should accompany enquiries.
