Electric flange type heating element

(for higher loads)

 

Flange type heating elements used in situations where high medium temperatures are required. High surface loads and good heat transfer to medium are required.

The tubular heating elements are u-formed and welded or soldered to the flange. Tube diameters of 8.5mm or 16mm are used.

Type type heating elements can be delivered complete with thermostat, temperature limiter and run dry protection.

For medium temperatures over 150ºC to protect electrical connections and cables it is recommended to include an insulation distance between fitting flange and control box. The distance of the cooling area depends on the medium temperature.

To assist circulation distance discs are installed reducing friction and the risk of overheating or false temperatures being reached.
